The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) Health Community of Practice is pleased to host the next community teleconference on Tuesday, November 5 from 8:30-10:00AM EST (GMT-5). During this telecon, Stacie Dunkle (WHO) will describe the Competencies for One Health field epidemiology (COHFE) framework, developed by FAO, WHO and WOAH, which supports countries to build field epidemiology capacity using the multisectoral One Health approach. Then, Alice Catherine Hughes (The University of Hong Kong) will provide an overview of the GEO Biodiversity Observation Network (BON) and highlight potential areas of collaboration (e.g. spillover) with the GEO Health CoP. Then, the EO4Health team will moderate an open discussion with CoP members.
